QPIRG Concordia values the unique contributions that people who are marginalized bring to our organization and our communities. We also understand that applicants may experience marginalization in a number of interconnected ways. If you identify as a member of a marginalized group, or have an experience that is outside of the standard work market, we strongly encourage you to apply.
Please indicate on the application questionnaire if you would like to be considered for employment equity. There is no expectation that you specify as to why you are indicating that you would like to be considered for employment equity, but you are welcome to do so if you wish (there is space on the application form to do this).
In order to avoid tokenism in hiring, as well as to respect applicants’ choice as to whether or not they wish employment equity to apply, we will not ask about employment equity during the interview.
