Teach-in and conference about resisting the far-right
Two Days of Workshops, Discussions and Skill-sharing

Concerned about the rise of xenophobia and the far-right in Quebec, Canada and the USA? Feeling frustrated and wondering what you can do to fight back? Interested in getting involved in activist work but unsure of where or how to start? Join us on March 25 and 26 for a teach-in and conference about resisting the far-right. This event is free and open to all, students and non-students.
We encourage the participation of everyone interested in resisting the rise of the far-right, both people new to activism and people who are already involved. If you’re curious about resisting oppression, this teach-in is your point-of-entry to learn more.

This event takes place on the traditional territory of the Kanien’kehá:ka. The Kanien’kehá:ka are the keepers of the Eastern Door of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. The island called “Montreal” is known as Tiotia:ke in the language of the Kanien’kehá:ka, and it has historically been a meeting place for other Indigenous nations, including the Algonquin peoples. It’s not enough just to acknowledge the keepers of this land. We encourage everyone participating in the teach-in to get informed and educated, and to actively resist colonialism and neo-colonialism in the many forms it takes, and in the diversity of forms that resistance can take too.
