“Gentrification can seem inevitable. As condos spring up like mushrooms, rent creeps ever higher, and available apartments become harder and harder to find, how can we resist the mass displacement of socio-economically marginal groups from popular neighborhoods? This guide addresses the structural and cultural aspects of gentrification, and suggests both individual and collective strategies for resisting the process.” Gentrify This! was supported by a research stipend by QPIRG Concordia.
With the participation of members of local housing and activist organizations active in resisting gentrification in Montreal.
