ART IN/EN ACTION steps out of Concordia Hall Building 7th’s floor, on STUDY IN/EN ACTION’s Saturday night, and into Burritoville’s 2nd floor!

-These words the people yelled it out quite loudly: “no no representan” (you don’t represent us). The notation agencies are declaring the bankrupcies of countries, nations, individuals. Our turn has come now to declare the bankrupcy of this unfair and dangerous system.-

This year, the Study In Action conference is offering American Sign Language (ASL) translation for conference participants. This expense was not part of the original Study In Action budget, so we are seeking funds from other sources, including our memberships.

We are making this one-time appeal to those QPIRG members who might be able to consider a donation to the Study In Action ASL access fund. We are asking for donations from $25 upwards so that paid translators will be able to attend and translate to and from ASL at the conference. The entire Study In Action conference is free, and is paid for budgets from QPIRG Concordia & McGill as well as active fundraising.

Dear friends of QPIRG: The ART IN ACTION exhibition will take place between February 27 to March 4 (next week!). The art will be displayed on the 7th floor of the Hall Building. We need volunteers who can be at our welcome table during the exhibition, both to welcome people seeing the exhibit, and also to watch the artwork and equipment.
