*Please note that unfortunately the workshop on sex-positive conversations has been cancelled. In addition, Shoshana Erlich will regretfully no longer be presenting on the Trans Health panel due to our inability to guarantee adequate ASL interpretation. | WORKSHOP: Parole sans parole, the prequel: The Vulture (with the Termite Collective) | 3 - 4:30pm | Room H-760 | We will be presenting a multimedia play exploring the daily realities of living inside prison, the absurd, devastating and over-the-top control inmates have to face and the impacts of the new crime bill and "tough on crime" rhetorics. The play will consist of speeches by the conservative government, psychologists, wardens, police, mayors and building contractors, a narrative following a few inmates, and some skits. All of the stories and skits are true, they are stories told to us and experiences by us, only the names and the faces have been changed. |

| WORKSHOP: Anti-authoritarian Media in Quebec | 3:30 - 5pm | Room H-763 | This workshop will present the findings of a participatory action research project by members of the CRAC-K (Research Group on Collective Autonomy), where we analyzed interviews from nine antiauthoritarian pro-feminist groups and networks in Quebec, examining how antiauthoritarians see ourselves being represented by the mainstream media, and also how we produce our own media. |
