Project description:  This research would survey medical laboratories, medical school universities, and other scientific researchers in Canada in order to identify those which do not use animals for their research -- if any. After these laboratories are identified, the rationale for their cruelty-free policy will be assessed, and the alternative methods employed outlined. This information will be distributed, as leaflets or pamphlets, at information tables to inform the public of alternatives to animal experimentation, as well as posted online at http://www.aequoanimo.com.

Description of final product:  A one-page or more recto verso leaflet.

Skills required:  Most crucial is a motivation to research laboratories thoroughly; an aptitude for interview is also key.
